Paris, France, is an international capital and a leading European city for culture, fashion, cuisine and arts. If you want to experience some of the best places in Paris then there are many top tourist attractions that you must see and visit. For example, if you want to experience some fun filled shopping you can choose the Place Vendome and Orsay department stores or the Champs Elysees. If you love taking part in some cultural events then one of the best attractions is the Louvre.

Paris also has a lot of things to do for those interested in sightseeing and other entertainment activities. The Etoile River is the starting point of most of the Parisian attractions. To explore the river from the viewpoint of a boat will allow you to see the rapids. From this angle the River Rhone can be seen rising up in the right side of the picture.

Visiting The Ancient Quarter

In order to get an insight of the history of Paris you can visit the ancient quarter. This is one of the oldest parts of the city where you will find a lot of historical objects that are associated with history. You will also find some of the oldest buildings around the city. There are also a lot of monuments that you can see in this area.

Other important buildings of the city include the Church of Sacre Coeur, the Cathedral of Notre-Dame and the Pantheon. The beautiful Pompidou Centre is another attraction in this part of the city. If you have a short time to spare and want to enjoy a stroll around the city, you can go for a walk along the river Seine.

Visit The Montreaux District

If you want to get to know some of the cultural life of Paris then you can visit the Montreaux district, which is located on the east side of the river. The district is home to some of the most famous artists. There are also some historical museums. These include the Louvre and Picasso’s Les Demoiselles d’Avignon.

A good place to relax and spend some time with your family is at the Le Bistro de Paris, which is located inside the old Roman church of Notre-Dame. If you are looking for a little bit of adventure then there is an observation platform where you can get a glimpse of the city and its beauty. This is also where you can take in the breathtaking views of the Seine from above.

Other attractions in the Parisian area include the Trocadero or the Theatre National des Amateurs and the Parc des Expositions. All these places are very popular tourist attractions and can be visited during your vacation in the city.


The nightlife of the city is also one of the best in the world. You can enjoy some of the best jazz and blues clubs in the whole of Europe. The best thing about Paris is that you can spend your holiday without having to leave the city and you will be able to do some shopping and explore Paris at the same time.
